ON 7/1/14 A COMPLAINT WAS RECEIVED REGARDING CUSTOMERS WHO BECAME ILL POSSIBLY AFTER EATING AT DOS AMIGOS.
FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE CHECKED:
1) FOOD TEMPS: CHICKEN, BEEF, PORK, 41F, SALSA 41; SOUR CREAM 40; REFRIED BEANS 140
2) CHLORINE SANITIZER 200 PPM (BUCKET)
FACILITY DOES NOT HAVE ANY LEFTOVER FOOD AND NO OTHER COMPLAINTS RECEIVED; ALL EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN HEALTHY.
FACILITY DOES MAKE THEIR OWN SALSA; INGREDIENTS INCLUDE: ONION, PEPPERS, CORN STARCH, CANNED TOMATOES. BOIL FOR 30 MIN. COOL AND REFRIGERATE. SALSA IS GONE WITHIN 2-3 DAYS AND A NEW BATCH IS MADE.
ISSUES: 1) SALSA IS NOT PROPERLY LABELED. RECOMMENDED THEY USE SHALLOW PANS AND PROPERLY LABEL SALSA.
FACILITY WAS CLEAN AND ALL FOODS WERE PROPERLY STORED.
